Welcome to Les Babins Campsite in Bouzillé, a true green oasis! Enjoy the tranquillity of this small, nature-oriented campsite situated on the banks of the Loire. Drop off your bags and set off on an adventure!
Detour No. 1: paddle along the Èvre.
Setting off from the campsite, hop on a bike and head along the ‘La Loire à Vélo’ cycle route towards Notre-Dame-du-Marillais. The journey covers nearly 7 km. Thomas will welcome you at the Èvre Loisirs centre and give you all the advice you need for canoeing. You’ll take a shuttle bus to the Pont d’Alène to begin your self-guided canoe trip down the River Èvre. A gentle trip, at your own pace, lasting 3 to 4 hours, to discover the contrasting landscapes of this wild river. After all that effort… time for a treat! On your return to the centre, take a break and enjoy a drink at the La Drain’guette open-air café (not included in the stay).
Back at the campsite, enjoy a unique experience by spending the night in a wooden cabin, either on stilts or on the ground, built by Arnaud, the site’s owner. There’s also an open-air café on site, where you can enjoy a drink or dinner in a rustic setting (not included in the package). A wide range of musical entertainment is organised during the summer season.
The next day, have a hearty breakfast and off you go again!
Detour No. 2: Mountain biking adventure
After breakfast, follow David on a guided mountain bike ride. Helmets and water bottles are provided. Please note: this tour is not private (groups of up to 8 or 12 guests, depending on the route). Two routes are available depending on your fitness level:
Option 1: Family Route (up to 12 people)
Distance: 22 km
Estimated duration: Around 3 hours

Route: From Bouzillé to La Chapelle-St-Florent
Option 2: Sporty Route (up to 8 people)
Distance: 35 km
Estimated duration: 3 to 4 hours
Starting point: Les Babins Campsite or Notre-Dame-du-Marillais
Route: From Bouzillé to Drain or from Notre-Dame-du-Marillais to Le Mesnil-en-Vallée
