La Pierre à Fourneau est une ancienne vigne de Julien Gracq (écrivain français né à Saint-Florent-le-Vieil en 1910 et décédé en 2007) qui a légué cet espace à la commune de Saint-Florent-le-Vieil.

En 2022, l'association Vigne et patrimoine du Mont-Glonne a replanté une vigne de 2500 pieds grâce à une souscription auprès de 1700 personnes de toute la France, d'Europe, et d'ailleurs, ayant des racines à Saint-Florent-le-Vieil.

C'est une vigne associative et participative entretenue et gérée par l'association. Une centaine de personnes s'active à cultiver la vigne, tout en abordant l'aspect pédagogique de l'évolution au fil des saisons.

L'association restaure également les vieux murs, les cabanes de vignes... Il y a une quinzaine de ceps de Hongrie, pays d'origine de Saint-Martin, qui ont été plantés en 2023. Saint-Florent-le-Vieil est jumelée avec Tihany sur le lac Balaton.

La clé donnant accès au clos de vigne est disponible à l'Office de Tourisme de Saint-Florent-le-Vieil jusqu'au 20 septembre.
